BUBBLE TEA
Last week we learned how to order bubble tea. This week we’ll expand on your vocab so you have no issues ordering it just the way you like it.
Bubble Tea Vocabulary
Bubble tea pearls
珍珠
zhēn zhū
Add ice
加冰
jiā bīng
Straw
吸管
xī guǎn guǎr
Add sugar
加糖
jiā táng
Half the normal amount of sugar*
半糖
bàn táng
I don’t want sugar
不要糖
bù yǎo táng
*Unless you want your socks knocked off with an incredibly creamy and sugary drink I’d highly suggest ordering half sugar. Not only for the best taste possible but also, your teeth with thank you.
