We completed the competition, and one of us lost sorely. Keep reading to find out which server failed miserably.
Astrill has a speed test on the computer that analyses the servers and tells you the fastest ones to connect to.
I like on Express, it tells you day by day on the phone, the faster server at that point so you’re always up to date.
Astrill won the speed test.
What’s the Faster Servers?
Matt’s Android / Astrill combo won’t connect to Hong Kong.
Kwadwo’s Astrill on iPhone wouldn’t connect to Hong Kong either.
Express connected with ease.
Matt got himself back in the game. Astrill finished with triple the speed. Let’s call this one a tie because my phone wouldn’t connect to the Hong Kong server.
Matt’s Android / Astrill would no longer connect so I went head to head with Express. Astrill took the lead, with double the speed test.
Astrill wins again.
Call it a tie?
Astrill was faster in this video. But, the two Astrill phones (one Apple and one Android) each failed to connect once.

The Great Firewall of China
Want to use the VPN I use for a stable, quick connection in China? I depend on it to upload more than six videos a week and live-stream on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. And here’s my second choice for a VPN. Plus, when you download from either link, they share some of the cost with me, so I can keep creating the videos you love.
